As 2025 draws to a close, we look back with the immense satisfaction of having experienced a year that will be forever etched in our history. This has been no ordinary cycle; it was the year we celebrated our 70th Anniversary—seven decades of shared effort and an unwavering commitment to our land in the heart of Rioja Oriental.

Seven Decades as the Heart of Aldeanueva

On November 20th, we marked a historic milestone: the 70th Anniversary of the founding of our cooperative, Viñedos de Aldeanueva. Since 1956, our family has never stopped growing, always upholding the values of sustainability and unity that defined our beginning. This anniversary has been the guiding light of 2025, a year in which we reaffirmed that our true strength lies in the collective will of all our partners and workers.

A Harvest of Mastery and Resilience

The 2025 Vintage will be remembered for its complexity and the expertise of our winegrowers. We began with the excitement of the night harvest for Tempranillo Blanco in August, but unpredictable weather and September rains put us to the test. However, as highlighted during the presentation of the "Cosecha Nueva" (New Harvest) alongside experts like Pedro Ballesteros MW, resilience has been our greatest ally. The result is a selection of wines with promising concentration and balance, proudly reflecting the character and terroir of our beloved village, Aldeanueva de Ebro.

Recognitions that Drive Us Forward

Our pursuit of excellence has once again borne fruit in the most prestigious competitions. This year, Espumoso de Rioja Azabache (Sparkling Rioja) was awarded Gold at the Wines From Spain Awards, while our Tunante de Azabache Rosado took first prize at the 35th Rioja Grower Wine Competition. Above all, these awards are a tribute to the hands that tend to every vine and the care we pour into our barrels and organic vineyards.
