The largest international wine competition and Germany´s most important international wine challenge, the Berliner Wein Trophy, awards the wines of our winery Bodega Fincas de Azabache once again.

Fincas de Azabache Garnacha and Tunante de Azabache have been awarded with Gold Medal in the latest edition of this important international appointment for the wines of all over the world.

Since its creation in 2004, under the patronage of OIV and UIOE, it has become a reference worldwide within the wine sector. Every year it brings together well-known producers and distributors from around the world and the number of samples submitted grows with over 14.000 entries this last year  and with many submissions not accepted due to the limited contingent of entries of 7.000 per edition (winter and summer).  As the DWM-Deutsche Wein Marketing said, “…this limitation is a logical step in the quality approach with we operate…” “At the same time, this measure prevents an inflators increase of award-winning wines with the Berliner Wine Trophy medal”
