We welcome the new incorporation to the Fincas de Azabache family, our DOCa Rioja wine of Viñedo Singular, Coscojares.

The recognition of "Viñedo Singular" is a pioneer  initiative within the Spanish vitivinicultural scene, that highlights the singularity of the different types of terroir that exist in Rioja.

Coscojares represents the essence of our history, the old grenaches. Witness to several generations of Aldeanos, this vines that where planted back in 1944, nowadays provide us with a very limited production of very delicate and elegant grapes. The result is a wine with the own varietal character of the grenaches from our hometown, fine, silky and not muscular at all.

Coscojares is in synchrony with nature, terroir and wine together, a jewel created to transmit the essence of the Rioja vineyards to those who taste it.

Coscojares is a tribute to tradition, to the inestimable work of the families that make up Azabache, that with their know-how they take care of this land source of richness and flavour.

They represent the essence of our new project.
