The town mayor, Ángel Fernández, introduced the event, with limited seating according the the sanitary regulations, in which Gonzalo Ortiz (oenologist and assesor) and Javier Portu (Agronomist of La Rioja Goverment) tasted two wines, a red of the Graciano variety and a White Tempranillo, in representation of the 13 wineries of the locality that presented their wines.
They highlighted that this year the maturation of the grapes was slow and beneficial, thus the wines produced with these grapes will be ideal for long ageing. They also forecast wines of a very high and excellent quality for this vintage.

Here it is produced the 10% of the total kilos of the DOCa Rioja and in this past campaign 414 million kilos of grapes were collected that will be 285 million litres of wine, a 9% more of the previous 2020.
